Peter Keys has been touring and recording with Lynryd Skynryd since 2009, taking over on keyboards after the death of rock legend Billy Powell. Prior to the Skynyrd gig, Peter was the keyboardist for George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic (aka P-Funk). Along the way, he’s recorded or shared the stage with a wide variety of musicians including Bootsy Collins, Snoop Dogg, Chaka Kahn, and Isaac Hayes. When not on the road with Lynryd Skynyrd, Peter can be found in the studio producing and recording with a wide variety of artists, in many musical styles. Peter recently released his debut solo project “Autopsy-Turvy”.
Peter studied composition and performance at Berklee College of Music and can teach and play just about any genre. Peter has an unbridled love and passion for the piano. Peter teaches piano, Hammond B3, and synthesizer. Peter will contact you directly to schedule your lessons.
