Yamaha CP4 Sound Question

Chuck-I am playing in a blues band that does a ton of stuff you are familiar with. From Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf to Clapton and some Allman Brothers too. I also have the Yamaha CP4 that you endorse. My problem is that I spend hours trying to find the right mix for my piano by playing with the EQ and reverb chorus etc, I find something I like and for some reason when I try it in a band setting, it does not sound right. Can you give me any advice on how to EQ the piano sound for this type of music? Any hint would be really appreciated.

While Chuck does play the CP4, the voices have been programmed and customized for him by Yamaha so he mightn’t be able to answer your question. We’ll will forward your question on to our contacts at Yamaha and get back to you when/if we hear from them.

I’ve also been dissatisfied with some of the sounds in the Yamaha CP-4 keyboard I have. I’m wondering if any of the custom technology that Chuck has is transferable that I can implement to enjoy the sounds more. Please let me know if that is possible.
