Does anyone have a suggestion as to which metronome I might get?

I recommend the Boss DB-90. You can play triplets (the basis of swing feel) and quarter notes at the same time, and control how loud each one is.

It’s also worth checking out some of the free drum rhythm tracks on the internet once you have the timing clear in your mind – it’s a bit more interesting than playing along to a metronome! -
Absolutely. The drum apps are excellent. We’ll try to post a video on how to set different beats with drum kits. Thanks for the suggestion.
